We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Portfolio Analyst to support portfolio performance monitoring, financial analysis, business reporting, and strategic decision-making.

Job Overview

The Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for evaluating portfolio performance, analyzing financial and operational data, preparing management reports, identifying business trends, and supporting strategic initiatives. This role requires strong analytical thinking, financial knowledge, and the ability to transform complex data into meaningful insights for executive management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, reporting, and performance management within a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze portfolio performance and prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly analytical reports.

  • Monitor financial, operational, and business KPIs across multiple business units.

  • Conduct financial analysis, trend analysis, and variance analysis to support management decisions.

  • Identify business opportunities, operational risks, and performance improvement areas.

  • Collect, validate, and consolidate data from various internal departments.

  • Develop dashboards, executive reports, and management presentations.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities.

  • Perform portfolio performance reviews and recommend optimization strategies.

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial and operational data.

  • Work closely with Finance, Investments, Operations, Technology, and Executive Management teams.

  • Assist in investment performance analysis and business growth initiatives.

  • Maintain reporting standards and improve reporting automation where possible.

  • Support strategic projects through financial modeling and data-driven recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related discipline.

  • CFA Level I/II or CA Inter qualification is required.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Portfolio Analysis, Financial Analysis, Business Analytics, FP&A, or Management Reporting.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, investment analysis, and business performance metrics.

  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under tight deadlines.
